About Nicola
Hi! I am Nicola and I'm a recent graduate from USYD. I started learning the violin at 4 years old and achieved LTCL (equivalent standard to the final year of an undergraduate degree ) in Year 10.
I have had extensive performance experience in orchestras and ensembles as well. I was the concertmaster of the Hong Kong Youth Strings from 2019-2021 and am now a violinist with the Sydney University Symphony Orchestra.
I have worked with different music schools and have had extensive teaching experience of coaching students from 4 years old to adult. My experience of teaching ranges from 1-1, group, in person and online lesson. Students achieved satisfactory results from AMEB and competitions.

-tailor my teaching that would best suit my students' age, personality, and expectations, rather than sticking to one particular method.
- put a strong emphasis on developing a correct posture as the fundamental element in successful playing.
- use a range of music books: covering music pieces, scales, and etudes for solid technical development.
- incorporate music theory and musicianship during lessons to ensure an all-rounded music learning experience.
