About Sajid

A Mentor & Coach for University Students seeking to develop real life expert knowledge in the Construction Industry in cost & commercial management.

Currently working as a Commercial Manager, I have over 13+ years of experience in managing complex large scale construction projects up to £1bn of value in the UK, Europe and Middle East. After graduating with a Master’s in Cost and Project Management accredited by RICS, I worked as Quantity Surveyor for established Consultancies.

With my experience as a Senior Commercial Consultant with expertise in Contract Administration, I have had the pleasure of developing junior members of the team and colleagues both regionally and internationally. In that time, I have built a positive rapport with clients, stakeholders, designers & contractors.

About the lesson

One of the areas of expertise I can offer is providing skills maps and required trainings steppingstones to secure a successful career as a Quantity Surveyor for different firms, with expectations in the Consultancy, Main Contractor, and Clients. Unfortunately, this is something Universities cannot offer as they focus primarily on the academic aspect of Quantity Surveying, however, not necessarily the employment skillset required to develop a successful professional career.

I can also offer support and guidance for proof reading and critique analysis requirements to achieve high grades in university assignment and final year dissertation.
