About Hanan

My name is Hanan, and I am currently a final-year university student with a strong educational background and a genuine passion for teaching. I completed structured Qur’an studies at a young age through formal courses, where I built a solid foundation in Qur’an reading and writing. I understand that learning is most effective when students feel comfortable and supported. For this reason, I focus on one-to-one teaching, allowing lessons to be fully personalized, engaging, and paced according to each student’s abilities. I believe learning should be enjoyable as well as meaningful, and I aim to create lessons that students look forward to and feel confident attending. I take my role as a tutor seriously and approach every lesson with patience, professionalism, and care. As a university student, I bring strong organization skills, reliability, and a commitment to helping each student progress steadily and confidently. My lessons are suitable for beginners of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults, who are looking to build or strengthen their Qur’an reading and writing skills in a positive and encouraging learning environment.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Qur’an reading and writing is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s age and abilities. Before beginning lessons, I usually meet with the student for an initial assessment to understand their current level, pronunciation, reading ability, and learning pace. This allows me to decide the best starting point and create a personalised learning plan.

I teach Mubtadea (beginner) level students, focusing on correct Arabic letter recognition, proper pronunciation (makharij), basic tajweed foundations, and gradual reading confidence. Lessons are taught step-by-step, with regular revision to ensure strong understanding before progressing.

Depending on the student’s age and capabilities, I adjust my teaching methods to keep lessons engaging and comfortable. For younger learners, I use repetition, clear examples, and gentle encouragement. For older students and adults, lessons are more structured and goal-focused, with emphasis on accuracy and fluency.

A typical lesson runs for 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s concentration and level. I was taught in Palestine by well-known and experienced teachers and am familiar with effective methods for teaching Qur’an reading and writing to beginners.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults who are beginners or looking to strengthen their foundation in Qur’an reading and writing in a supportive and respectful environment.
