About Aalia
I'm currently studying Creative Writing at the Queensland University of Technology. I'm an international student, hailing from Zimbabwe. I've mainly peer tutored back home, helping younger students with both oral and written English. I've found my students saw a significant improvement in both their spoken and written English, and have seen an increase in their exam results.

So I prefer teaching to individuals because I feel this gives the student a more personal approach to learning. I focus on all kinds of students, so your background or your skill level does not faze me; I'm happy to help whomever.
My lessons will follow the student's own learning style; I try to find something the student enjoys in order to apply that to the studying to make it more approachable and less daunting. I also ensure the student practises as much as possible, and so I will try to set oral and written tasks in order to help with the fluency of the language.
