About Jiaxin

Hello, I am Kaja, my Chinese name is Jiaxin Li. I am passionate about teaching children the beauty of mandarin language and Chinese culture. As a native mandarin speaker, a with 2 years of experience teaching kids, I love creating fun, engaging lessons that inspires curiosity and confidence. As well as a mum, I teach my mixed race 2-year-old son to speak both English and Mandarin in a daily basis. I also want to share my love for Mandarin to help children connect with their rich culture and open new opportunities. Watching my students grow, laugh and succeed bring me joy, and I am excited to guild your child on this rewarding journey.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on creating fun, engaging and immersive experiences. For example, play-based learning. I incorporate songs and stories to make the lessons enjoyable and memorable. I will also be doing visual and auditory aids. For younger kids (4-7) suggest short lesson (30 minutes). For older kids (8-12), standard lessons (45-60) minutes. I have taught mandarin to kids while i was in China, I have also have experience on giving Chinese kids English lessons. My lessons draw on authentic Mandarin usage and cultural knowledge to provide a well-rounded learning experience. I am experienced in working with kids, ensuring they feel comfortable, supported, and motivated. My mandarin lessons are designed for kids from 4–12-year-old. Beginners or children with limited prior exposure to mandarin.
