"I typically work with juniors who are staring at a blank screen and wondering where to place their first structural grid. Standing in my studio after 4 years of daily Revit use, I realize that clean templates are the difference between a panicked deadline and a smooth submission.
My B.Arch from the University of Otago gave me the theoretical grounding, but my professional practice taught me how to manage BIM fundamentals, phasing, design options, and complex MEP systems. We start with the basics of levels and grids, then move into the specifics of revisions, issue tracking, and managing viewports effectively.
