About Lily

Hello! I'm Lily, and I have a real passion for languages and helping others learn Spanish. I believe learning a language is one of the most rewarding skills you can develop—it opens doors to new cultures, opportunities, and experiences.

I'm currently studying Spanish at university and have over three years of tutoring experience, teaching students aged 7 to 65 in primary and secondary schools, as well as online, meaning I can adapt our lessons to suit a wide range of ages, abilities, and learning needs. I also spent a year living in Valencia, Spain, where I taught English to native Spanish-speaking children in a primary school, giving me valuable experience teaching languages in an immersive environment.

Whether you're learning Spanish for school, travel, work, or simply for fun, I'd love to help you build your confidence, achieve your goals, and enjoy the learning process along the way!

About the lesson

I've been tutoring Spanish for over three years and genuinely love helping people discover how enjoyable learning a language can be. I've taught students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to GCSE and A-Level students, so I'm confident adapting my lessons to whatever works best for you.

As well as holding GCSE, A-Level, and C1 qualifications in Spanish, I've also studied French and German, so I understand first-hand the challenges (and rewards!) of learning a new language. I also spent a year living in Valencia, Spain, teaching English in a primary school, which gave me invaluable experience creating fun, engaging lessons for learners with different abilities and learning styles.

No two students are the same, so no two lessons are either! Whether you're aiming for top grades in your exams, want to improve your speaking confidence before a holiday, need help with grammar, or are starting Spanish from scratch, I'll tailor every lesson to your goals and learning style.

I like to keep lessons varied and interactive, using everything from games and quizzes to conversation practice, reading and listening activities, exam-style questions, and plenty of real-life Spanish. My goal is to make sure you not only make great progress but actually enjoy learning too.

Most importantly, I want my lessons to be a relaxed, encouraging space where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating your progress. Learning a language should feel exciting, not intimidating, and I'll be there to support you every step of the way!
