About Brian
I have extensive experience helping over a hundred students of different ages learn to read. The majority of my students have learning issues such as dyslexia and attention deficit disorders which makes learning how to read in the traditional classroom setting difficult. I also have experience working with people diagnosed as being on the spectrum, traumatic brain injury, and students with both medical and forensic issues. I also have worked as a classroom teacher and reading specialist within public and private school settings. I have been self-employed as a reading specialist working for private clients since June of 2007.

I provide a systematic framework utilizing multi-sensory instruction based upon Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes' techniques for struggling readers in order to help them catch up to grade level. I also provide assessments that help identify a client's underlying strengths and weaknesses related to reading, spelling, and comprehension.

Details
A discounted rate of $60 per hour for intensive students that working a minimum of two hours a day, five times a week, and prepay in full at the beginning of the month. For those students that need an evaluation, my testing fee is based upon my hourly rate of $75. The first hour free will be a consultation based upon any testing or evaluations done by myself or another professional. Testing fees are waived if the client has done a useable thorough psychological evaluation by a licensed psychologist, neuropsychologist, or educational consultant within the past six months.
