About Amaal
I am a Resident Physician in Psychiatry. I truly enjoy teaching and have been tutoring students for over a decade now! Beyond teaching, I enjoy providing career guidance to students and helping them start to design a life plan.
I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school, at Turner Fenton Secondary School, and then achieved an Honors Specialization in Medical Science, with a minor in French Language and Translation at the University of Western Ontario (now Western University). After this, I completed 3 out of 4 years in the Honors Specialization in Mathematics program at my alma mater, but left to pursue medicine in USA.
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, bingeing TV shows, and spending time with my friends and family.

10+ years of tutoring experience in Math , Science (chemistry and biology), and French, from elementary to University level. I like learning where your foundation is and then building from there. I give tiny amounts of homework to make sure you get spaced repetition (very important!). We can do whatever it is you require, whether that is working on class material, or building your basics, or pushing beyond the classroom! We can tailor a lesson plan together!
