About Sophie
Hi! I’m Sophie, a 22-year-old Korean language tutor who graduated from the University of Sheffield with a First Class Bachelor's Degree in Korean studies. As part of my degree, I also spent a year studying at Kyunghee University in Seoul, where I developed my language skills while experiencing everyday life in Korea!
Having once been a complete beginner myself, I understand how intimidating learning Korean can feel. That is why I focus on making lessons fun, supportive and easy to follow with clear explanations to help build confidence from day one.
I specialise in teaching beginners, but I can also help students who want to learn practical, natural Korean for travel, studying abroad, or everyday conversations, drawing on my own experiences of living in Korea.
Whether you’re learning for K-pop, K-Dramas, travel, or personal interest, I’m here to help you achieve your goals with confidence while enjoying the learning process!🤷♀️
