About Rebecca
Hi! I am a 24-year-old, native Spanish speaker from Venezuela. I achieved many of my dreams thanks to teaching, like studying graphic design and moving to a different country.
I first found out about my interest in this area by helping my classmates with several subjects in high school and then tutoring English specifically, which I love. I started teaching kids, in classrooms and online, which made me think about different ways to make classes interactive and fun!
During the pandemic, I got the opportunity to teach internally to a company and progressively to my own students.
I love drawing and watching K-dramas. I'm currently studying Japanese.

I have 5+ years of experience helping Spanish speakers of all ages to feel comfortable speaking English, simultaneously learning more about my language and the pain points and similarities between the two.
I have never been too fond of books. I prefer a more interactive style using my own guides/materials that I've built/keep creating as classes go by. That way I can customize lessons as much as possible.
I love having a first meet to learn about your level/ experience and goals, and also what has worked (and not) for you. Once that's settled, we can build a plan tailored for you.
From young learners to busy adults, I am confident we can learn together and have a good time.
