About Anna
I am a Bachelor of Health Sciences graduate who has been tutoring school-aged students (school years 2-8) for about 3 years in various subjects (maths, sciences, health-active living, english). I am an approachable, adaptable and independent person with an interest in meeting new people and making a difference. These skills have been developed as a result of participating in various extra-curricular activities, and the expansion of my learning outside of the university community through an International Study Exchange. My time abroad allowed me to flourish socially and academically in a completely foreign country where English is a second language for most. Through this experience and with the ability to speak another language, I have become an effective and confident communicator.

My teaching method is to give a brief overview of the topic and demonstrate some examples. This is followed by time for the student to practice themselves and come up with questions for challenges they faced as I believe the best way to learn is by doing and making mistakes.
