I always believe that the best method of learning mathematics is to fully understand and appreciate what the content is and including any real world applications of such material as this engages genuine interest and confidence for the subject area. In this way questions and assignments not only appear more straightforward due to the increased level of confidence but become a tool/ marker for the level of understanding for the course material.
