About Ben
Throughout high school and college, I have tutored fellow peers and students in math. My experience has shown me that very often a student understands the concepts covered in classes but struggles applying them to homework and tests due to a lack of practice in application. My goal is to help my students become more comfortable and familiar at solving problems through guided examples and problems.

My lessons are filled with guided practice problems and examples. This allows students to both practice and gain a better grasp of high-level math concepts. I have tutored students in Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and first-year calculus. Before each lesson, I like to learn what my student is learning in classes and what specific concepts he/she finds confusing to tailor my lessons to the student's needs.
