About Kevin
I am an engineer in the biotech manufacturing industry. I received my degree from North Carolina State University. I have worked as a Mathnasium tutor and as a summer math tutor. I have worked with students in STEM from K-12 that explore the core curriculum of engineering principles. I have also volunteered as a STEM camp counselor at NC State for five years.

My approach to tutoring focuses on strengthening the students understanding of concepts and engaging students with fun activities to encourage them to challenge themselves. I utilize Socratic questioning, due to my time at Mathnasium, to allow the students to think critically and exercise problem-solving practically. I always check in with the students comprehension through in-depth explanations and allowing the time and space for questions.
