Tutoring Philosophy
As a tutor, I prioritize adapting to each student’s unique learning style, whether that means using visual aids, breaking down concepts step-by-step, or working through examples together. My goal is to create a supportive, personalized learning environment where students feel confident and capable.
Lesson Structure
A typical session begins with a conversation about what’s currently being taught in class, how the student feels about the material, and which topics need clarification. From there, we either:
- Work through problem sets collaboratively, or
- Reframe the material using the student’s strengths and preferred learning strategies
This flexible approach ensures that each session is both effective and empowering.
What I Bring
As a recent graduate, I understand the frustration of needing help with subjects that feel confusing or unengaging. My own academic journey, and years of tutoring experience, have taught me to lead with patience, empathy, and goal-oriented thinking.
