About Kaya
I am a graduate from the University of Nottingham where I read Industrial Economics BSc Hons. Prior to that, I studied at Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls, leaving with 2 A's and a B at A Level.
I ran the Spanish club and taught some Spanish lessons at St. Mary's and St. Pancras' CoE Primary School which allowed me to work with a variety of children and enhance my leadership and organisational skills.
For a year, I helped out at the Junior School of my school (Haberdashers') every Tuesday, particularly with Maths Lessons. My main focus was to teach them in a very entertaining way to reinstate the fact that education is fun.
I volunteered at the Latin American House in Kilburn for a summer where I assisted the teachers in the nursery. I thoroughly enjoyed working with all kinds of children and imparting knowledge and wisdom to them.
