He showed enthusiasm and sensitivity when working with young people, as well as clear musical skills on guitar and bass. It is nice to see when good musicians put their own need to play second to the job of encouraging and helping others, which Dave did consistently throughout the day. He worked as a team member and was friendly and helpful, a pleasure to work with.

Dave takes the time to find out what and how the children like to learn and adapts his lessons to meet their needs. If the children request to learn a certain piece or style of music Dave will happily oblige as he likes to keep the lessons relevant to them. He has guided me through four Registry Of Guitar Tutors Acoustic Guitar Exams, Which have included Initial stage, Preliminary Grade and Acoustic Guitar Grade 1 and Grade 2 all of which were past with Distinction. These grades were achieved by the time and patience Dave puts into my guitar lessons and the confidence he gives me ( currently he is helping me with Acoustic Guitar Grade 3. )
