About Mackenzie
I'm a recent high school graduate pursuing a degree in Writing/ Political Science. I've been tutoring peers in my year level and lower since 2016, with many noticing significant changes in their grades. For example, in 2017, one of my students required learning support, was on a C-/D+ in English, and was on the brink of moving down to the lowest-level class. After a couple intensive writing and drafting sessions per assignment, she has now graduated on a B+ in the top class, earning an Academic Credit award and the required OP for her uni course.

My lessons are malleable according to the student's needs, but they are primarily focused around the assignment at hand. This can include interpreting the task, then undergoing a proper brainstorming process. A key part of my teaching includes planning: extensive skeleton plan techniques will be explored, before we can then draft the work together. During this process, I correct the work and explain how - as they continue to write into the future - the student can improve their writing themselves.
