To teach drawing we’d start off with some basic skills such as anatomy and the human form, as this always helps, even if you want to draw in a more stylised manner. We’d touch on landscapes and animals too, as well as shading and form (though the lesson plan would be based around the student, so I’m open to anything e.g. cartoonish styles, animated styles etc)
My main goal is to improve the basic skills and then find the students UNIQUE style and bring it forward, because that is the most important thing when it comes to art.
I have drawn my entire life and am looking to begin an animation course at UTS or RMIT next year as I’m currently taking a gap year. My other passions include dance (I did Ballet for around 10 years) and the film industry, which I’m looking to pursue a career in. I’ve given art lessons to young kids at my school through a mentoring program, and I’ve also taught ballet to young kids so I have experience in the teaching arena.
