About Kiara
I’m a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in Maths. I know first-hand how frustrating it can feel when a subject doesn’t come naturally, which is one of the reasons I want to teach. After improving my own Maths grade I discovered that struggling with Maths doesn’t mean you’re incapable of succeeding at it, sometimes you just need the right approach and someone to explain things in a way that makes sense to you.
I want to help students experience that same feeling of progress and confidence. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through difficult topics without feeling judged.

I am offering GCSE (Edexcel IGCSE) and A-level (Edexcel) maths tuition.
Having gone from an E in my November mocks, and low D in my February mocks to an A in my final exams just 12 weeks later, I understand what it's like to struggle with maths and quickly recover from it.
I use the techniques that helped me make that improvement, focusing on identifying knowledge gaps, breaking down difficult topics and building confidence through targeted exam practice and past-paper questions.
Lessons are 60 minutes and are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether you're looking to make a significant grade jump, prepare for exams or strengthen your understanding of the course.
