Hi there! I'm Owen, a recent graduate with a genuine love for learning — and for helping others learn too. I know that school can feel overwhelming sometimes (I've been in that position a lot, trust me), but with the right support, every student can thrive. My approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to you. Whether you're trying to prepare for a big exam, or just need help making sense of a tricky subject, I'm here to guide you step by step. Tailored lessons depending on the student's ability, academic needs, and progression over lessons. Teaching would include going through specific topics, evaluating the student's understanding of the topic and then following up with either questions, tasks to do between lessons or providing videos further explaining the work. Typically, I'd advise 1-2 hour sessions to maximise the students applying themselves to the topic, and to not drag out the work. The length of lessons is dependent on where the student stands in the correlating topic/s. I am a recent graduate in chemical engineering from the University of Manchester, completing advanced mathematical and engineering problems and projects over that time. I have previous experience tutoring in Manchester and at home in Wales, both to GCSE and year 12 pupils over science and maths. I am more than happy to be contacted to fulfil the teaching for age ranges year 10 - year 13. Happy to teach students from all different skill levels, whether that's wanting to change that A to an A*, or even if that's just in wanting to help the student find their feet in the subject.
