About Ashley
Hi! My name is Ashley and I am a Mechanical Engineer and recent graduate from the University of Regina. As a highly academic student, I've been able to tutor students at various levels over the past 4 years and love seeing them come to understand difficult concepts for the first time. My academic and practical experience in math and science helps me make lessons engaging for students by emphasizing the connection between theory and practical application.

I love math and science and I hope you will too! My primary goal as a tutor is to help my students achieve success in their course work by explaining difficult concepts in a straightforward and engaging way. I also provide study strategies, practice recommendations, and review guides (when applicable) to help students reach their goals in each class.
I base my instruction primarily on what is being taught in my student's classroom. I custom tailor each lesson to the individual based on the course work they submit to me in advance. This ensures my lessons are course specific and complementary to student's classes.
I most commonly tutor math and science, both of which are subjects that require basic levels of understanding to be established before moving onto harder concepts. In some cases, my lessons involve reviewing concepts from previous grade levels or classes to ensure that students can accurately and successfully understand the topic at hand. I desire to help students gain a practical understand of what they are learning so that they continue to find success in higher level classes.
