About Fiodor
I am a fun, outgoing PhD graduate. I myself was tutored through my GCSEs in subjects I struggled with, and it has inspired me to help others achieve the same in the areas I am strongest, STEM related fields.
I will try my best to guide you with the principles I have experienced firsthand, both as a student and as a teacher, being open, honest and up-front about where you are at and progress you are making.

Firstly, covering the content is key. I will sit down with you and first assess where your strengths and weaknesses lie in relation to the curriculum being taught. This shall be based on both me asking you questions on where you feel you are underperforming, and my own assessment of your skills in an introductory session.
Next, diving deep into these topics is key. Here I'll try and employ a mixture of techniques. I will try and go beyond the curriculum, with the idea that you know MORE than what they are testing. My multidisciplinary background complements this perfectly. Also, where you may be struggling, using analogies, comparing more complex topics to situations you encounter in day to day life to try and get you to relate to the subject matter on a more personal level.
Finally, I am a firm believer in reps, and doing past papers. This was how I managed to get straight As at A level a decade ago, successfully complete my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, and how I was able to pass my CFA level I as well (currently studying for level II).
Each lesson will last at least an hour, however this can be increased if you wish and if I have availability.
Throughout my PhD, I taught a variety of topics to a variety at a variety of different age ranges and levels, from A level to Master's students, working on topics from Research Theory and Methodologies, Statistics, Engineering, and Biomedical Research.
