I like to take an individualized approach to teaching-- there is no "one size fits all" methodology. I develop a strategy according to the way a the student likes to learn. Are they more of a hands-on learner, visual, or auditory? What are the student's specific needs, strengths, and areas of concern? What motivates them to learn? Understanding these things first allows me to design a teaching program that creates a positive learning environment for my students.
