Recent University Graduate gives Essay-Writing Lessons to High School and Uni Students!

I really enjoyed having Andrew work for me as a writing intern in our university's marketing and communications office. In addition to being very funny, Andrew is also a natural writer with a real skill for editing and an eye for details. I have no doubt that he can put these skills to work while helping others as a tutor!

I had the privilege of overseeing Andrew's tutoring for the Writing Center at Catholic University of America for the last two years in my role as the Graduate Assistant Director. I observed his tutoring on numerous occasions both formally and informally.

Andrew establishes rapport with students quickly; he is friendly, non-judgmental, and easy to talk to. When tutoring in the Writing Center, Andrew would transition between providing examples for students to follow and asking questions to get students to arrive at their own conclusions. He used both of these pedagogical tools well and made sure students felt supported even while they maintained authorship over their own work.

Andrew is also responsible and professional. He never missed a shift and always showed up to work on time. He even volunteered to pick up extra hours over the weekends during times in the semester when demand for our services exceeded our scheduled staffing.

I recommend Andrew as a tutor without any hesitations.
