About Oliver
Hello, I'm Oliver. I have recently completed my A level journey which was one of the toughest experiences of my life. Like many others in year 12, I felt crushed by the huge jump from GCSE to A level and struggled in my subjects, getting D's and E's in mock papers. Since then, I worked hard and found the studying techniques that worked for me which led me to getting three A's at AS level in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Throughout year 13, I felt the need to pass on my experience to my friends who were either re-sitting or sitting for the first time their year 12 exams and there I found my passion for tutoring. A good tutor will not pass your exams for you but they will give you the confidence you need to believe that you can do it and that's what I aim to do with my pupils.

I believe in mastering the basics of the subject and then fine-tuning your knowledge based on the areas that you struggle with. The length of the lessons depends on the pupil's wants and needs but anywhere between 0.5 hours and 1.5 hours works perfectly fine. I have tutored other pupils in my year group and below in the subjects and they have seen success as well as taking a variety of online courses to ensure I'm delivering my services to a high enough standard. These lessons are intended for A level pupils (year 12 to 13) in England and Wales. I personally studied the WJEC curriculum but other curriculums are welcome!
