About Ciaran
I am a recent graduate who loved maths so much at school that I wanted to study it at university, and I really want to share that passion I felt as a younger student. I have always been passionate about education - I helped to mentor my school's Maths Challenge team, have done work experience in schools, and hope to pursue secondary school teaching as a career.
I also studied an optional module in Mathematics Teaching at university, which gave me a particular insight into methods and theories of assessment. This means I understand the rationale behind GCSE and A Level style questions, and how to best prepare for them.

I will be led by your learning goals and what you want to focus on to improve your broader understanding of maths, using my own in-depth understanding to make maths as fun as possible! I like using visual methods, linking different areas of maths, and showing wider applications of certain topics, as I think these all help to give a greater appreciation for maths as a whole, and allow a student to gain a cohesive understanding of the whole subject - which in my experience translates directly to attainment in examinations.
