I’ve always loved working with GCSE students and it’s so rewarding to see their growth and development over weeks and months to eventually achieving their target grades during their exams. Having had experience sitting the new GCSE Maths curriculum I know what is exactly required to pass with flying colours.

During my lessons I aim to ensure the lesson plan is tailored to the student. I always give starter questions to refresh current and previously taught knowledge, and I ensure to check understanding during the lesson and create an environment where students are able to be honest and open. I also like to set small pieces of homework to ensure the knowledge learnt is being reinforced as I understand in a single hour, time is limited and what is taught needs to be reviewed during independent time at home.
