Hello, I am Hannah! I have been playing violin since 2012, and have grown a strong attachment and deep love for the music I play, and the people I play with. Growing as a person, music has supported my best interests as a student, achieving amazing results as a result of the path I have chosen. I am excited for you to begin a pathway in music, and I cannot recommend a more genuine and meaningful path to take. I am looking forward to hearing from you, and we can explore ways to evaluate your musical journey!

Hello! I’m excited for you to start your pathway on the violin. If you’re just beginning or preparing for AMEB or VCE examinations, then these lessons would suit you! In these lessons we examine the fundamentals of the instrument and technique, and most importantly foster a deep connection with tone and character to the music. This is essential to building a strong relationship with music as it helps you through many facets of education and mental growth! I hope to share my love for music with you.
Expect for beginners, Learning fundamental techniques and ways to start yourself on the instrument, getting a comfortable feel for the violin and the bow. Looking at scales, and slowly making our way to pieces such as in early AMEB or Suzuki books.
VCE and AMEB preparation, as your technique is developing and you are gaining confidence in the instrument, importance lies in diversity of your repertoire and finesse of the timbre and composition of your performance. We will look at developing details of your pieces, and looking at the general knowledge of your piece and all facets to gain a deep and rich understanding of the repertoire.
