About Fleur
I am an experienced piano instructor dedicated to helping students of all skill levels enhance their musical abilities through personalized classical and jazz lessons. With three years of teaching experience, I have developed a deep passion for guiding students on their musical journey, whether they are beginners taking their first steps in piano playing or advanced pianists aiming to refine their technique and explore diverse musical genres.
My journey with music began at a young age, driven by a fascination with the piano's ability to evoke emotions and tell stories through music. Over the years, I have cultivated my skills through formal training, performance experience, and ongoing exploration of classical and jazz repertoire. This background has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of music theory, technical proficiency, and stylistic nuances, which I am eager to impart to my students.
As a piano instructor, I prioritize creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical interests and develop their own unique musical voice. I believe in tailoring lessons to meet the individual goals and learning styles of each student, ensuring a personalized approach that fosters both technical excellence and artistic expression.
Beyond teaching piano skills, I am committed to instilling a lifelong love for music in my students and nurturing their passion for learning. I encourage creativity, musical exploration, and a deep appreciation for the rich traditions of classical and jazz music. Whether students aspire to pursue music professionally or simply enjoy playing for personal fulfillment, I am dedicated to providing them with the guidance, encouragement, and expertise needed to achieve their musical goals.

Each lesson is meticulously crafted to blend foundational skills with advanced techniques, ensuring a well-rounded musical education. Beginners will start with basics such as hand positioning, note reading, and fundamental piano exercises, establishing a strong groundwork for future progress. Intermediate and advanced students will explore more complex aspects including advanced music theory, harmonization, improvisation techniques, and stylistic nuances specific to classical and jazz music.
Led by an experienced instructor with three years of teaching expertise, the lessons are tailored to meet the individual learning styles and goals of each student. I prioritize creating a supportive and nurturing environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical potential and express themselves through piano playing. Through personalized guidance and constructive feedback, I aim to empower students to achieve their musical aspirations and develop a deep appreciation for the artistry of piano performance.
Beyond technical proficiency, these lessons emphasize musical expression, creativity, and confidence-building. Regular performance opportunities, both in lessons and potentially in recitals or competitions, help students develop stage presence and overcome performance anxiety. The goal is not only to improve piano skills but also to foster a lifelong passion for music and equip students with the skills and confidence to pursue their musical dreams, whether professionally or for personal enjoyment.
