About Trudy
"CELTA certified and a BA English graduate from Melbourne Uni, I provide direct instruction. Over 13 years, I have worked with diverse individuals including refugees and asylum seekers. My focus remains on pronunciation and accent alongside IELTS preparation.
I also address listening comprehension and exam speaking practice. Students gain speaking confidence through idioms and expressions. Interview preparation and reading comprehension are central to my work. Academic writing practice remains a core priority."

I utilize my CELTA training to help you navigate complex linguistic hurdles. Weekly conversation recordings reviewed together form the foundation of our progress.
By listening to your own voice, you spot errors immediately. This method bridges the gap between study and real application.
I guide you through grammar and vocabulary with a calm, articulate approach. You develop a deeper intuition for English during our scheduled time. My role is to observe and refine your patterns. You will appreciate the direct feedback provided in this environment."
