About Blessing
Hello, my name is Blessing and I am a Registered Midwife with a passion for supporting and empowering others to achieve their goals.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting women and families through some of the most significant moments of their lives. This role has enabled me to develop strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills, alongside a deep understanding of professionalism, compassion and person-centred care.
Alongside my clinical work, I am passionate about education, personal development and helping aspiring healthcare professionals realise their potential. I understand first-hand how competitive university applications can be and recognise that many students feel overwhelmed when preparing personal statements and interviews. My aim is to make the process less daunting by providing tailored guidance, practical advice and ongoing encouragement.
Over the years, I have supported hundreds of students with their university applications and have helped aspiring midwives secure places at highly respected institutions, including Russell Group universities. Through application coaching, personal statement support and interview preparation, I have developed a strong understanding of what universities are looking for and how students can effectively showcase their skills, experiences and motivation for the profession.
I pride myself on creating a supportive and welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and developing the skills needed to succeed. Every student is unique, and I work collaboratively with individuals to identify their strengths and help them communicate these effectively throughout the application process.
In addition to my work as a Registered Midwife, I am involved in initiatives focused on supporting young women, promoting education and encouraging personal growth. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to mentoring and helping others achieve their ambitions.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, goals and stage of the application process. I take a supportive and structured approach, helping students develop confidence while ensuring they understand what universities are looking for in future midwives.
My teaching methodology combines practical guidance, personalised feedback and coaching. For personal statements, I help students identify their strengths, experiences and motivations, ensuring their application is authentic, well-structured and reflective of the values expected within the profession. For interview preparation, I use mock interview scenarios, NHS values-based questions and constructive feedback to help students communicate confidently and effectively.
I believe that successful applications are about more than simply answering questions correctly; they are about demonstrating genuine passion, professionalism and an understanding of the role. My aim is to empower students to recognise their own strengths and communicate them effectively throughout the application process.
Lessons typically last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the student's requirements. Additional support and follow-up guidance can be provided where appropriate.
I am a Registered Midwife with experience working within maternity services and supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Alongside my clinical experience, I am passionate about mentoring and supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. I have successfully navigated the university application process myself and developed a strong understanding of the qualities, values and attributes universities seek in prospective midwifery students.
Through my mentoring approach, I support aspiring healthcare professionals with application preparation, interview techniques, confidence-building and professional development, helping them present the strongest possible application and maximise their chances of securing a university place.
My lessons are suitable for students aged 16 and above who are interested in pursuing a career in Midwifery. This includes sixth-form students, college students, Access to Higher Education learners, mature students and individuals considering a career change into healthcare. Whether you are just beginning your application, refining your personal statement or preparing for an upcoming interview, I can provide personalised support to help you achieve your goals and take the next step towards your future career.
