About George
I am a GP Registrar with over 8 years of experience working within the NHS, having worked across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties throughout my training.
Having successfully navigated multiple highly competitive interview processes myself, I understand exactly what interviewers are looking for and how candidates can distinguish themselves. During my medical school application cycle, I was successful in securing interviews and offers from several leading UK medical schools, including Imperial College London, University College London (UCL), St George's, University of London, and the University of Nottingham.
Following medical school, I also successfully progressed through the extremely competitive national selection process for Core Surgical Training, gaining valuable insight into high-stakes healthcare interviews and candidate assessment. These experiences have given me a detailed understanding of how to communicate effectively under pressure, structure compelling answers, and demonstrate the personal qualities that selectors are looking for.
My approach to teaching is supportive, honest, and tailored to each student's needs. I focus on helping students build confidence, develop their communication skills, and learn how to approach both traditional panel interviews and Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) with clarity and authenticity.
