About Alex
Hello! I have a strong passion for teaching, developed through years of experience both at university level (Master’s courses) and through private tutoring. I’ve helped secondary school students prepare for exams and improve their grades, and I’ve also volunteered with primary school children who had learning difficulties. I'm proud to have consistently received positive feedback from my students, many of whom have successfully passed university exams, caught up on missed work, or boosted their performance. I currently work as a researcher at Queen Mary University of London. Before that, I was at Sony AI in Spain. I completed a PhD in Computer Science at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Germany (honours). I also hold a degree in Mathematical Engineering (honours) and a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Padua in Italy. My research focuses on machine learning and its applications to scientific problems.

My first goal is to fill any gaps in your understanding through practice -- working through exercises in detail to help make the theory more intuitive and accessible. Lessons take place in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Learning should never feel rushed. With a steady and systematic approach, progress naturally follows. By building knowledge step by step, real improvement is not only possible but expected.
