About Kevin
I am a retired Structural Engineer with a BSc in Civil Engineering. I have tutored students since my university days, mainly those with difficulties understanding the concepts in maths and physics and generally with good success. I have tutored my children and their friends, as well as mentored less experienced engineers.

My approach to tutoring is identify weakness or gaps in understanding the subject matter. Lessons are then conducted in a participatory manner where the student does the work under guidance. These begin with very simple examples and progress to greater complexity. Students are also shown how to self check their work.
