About Makayla
As a student, I have watched my peers struggle in math because they could not find a way to learn that works for them. After tutoring some of my peers, they gained confidence in their own abilities and were able to understand the material on their own. The way in which I tutor is meant to change the way that my tutees see math by turning it into a positive learning experience.

As a younger tutor, I can explain material in a way that my tutees can easily understand. My tutees can feel more comfortable with learning from me because I am closer to them in age. My goal is create an environment where my tutees can learn in a way that doesn’t put unnecessary pressure on them.
