About Samik
Hi, my name is Samik, and I'm a rising third-year medical student at WashU Med. I scored a 525 on the MCAT (100th percentile) after only 3 months of studying as a full-time student. I know firsthand what works and what is a waste of your time when it comes to the MCAT.
Thus far, I have helped 10 students go from scoring 490-495 on their first full-length to scoring a 510+, with several even breaching the 520 mark. My goal is for every student of mine to get a competitive score that allows them to get accepted into medical school and pursue medicine.
During tutoring sessions, I give live strategy/passage approach feedback, help you thoroughly review missed/flagged questions, and often provide more free-form interactive content review on weaker subjects. I frequently quiz my students and believe this is one of the best ways to make difficult concepts stick.
Between sessions, I help craft a realistic and efficient study plan. I am available daily via WhatsApp for any MCAT-related questions. I save all materials and drawings made during the session and send them via WhatsApp or email!
Packages include $75 for one one-hour lesson, or $360 for 5 sessions or $700 for 10.

Details
Will not charge for time outside of lessons, which I usually spend at least a 1:1 time prepping and personalizing relative to the amount of time I interact with.
This rate of $75-80/hour in packs of 5 or 10 lessons would be ~$200/250 hour for test prep company tutoring, such as Kaplan or Blueprint. My aim is to provide affordable options to students while also providing me with the funds to continue to invest my time into doing an outstanding job for my students.
