About Sofi
I have been teaching in various capacities for 8 years. I have taught English as a second language to students from the age of 8-17, I have taught environmental principles and farming methodologies to 14-17 year olds and I have provided scholarly mentorship to numerous young people throughout my time.

I am a 27 year old RMIT student currently studying Environmental Development and Sociology. I am interested in supporting young people academically and otherwise to hone in on their talents and passions to be effective and empowered in their lives.
I have always been a good student because I have been lucky to have found the support I needed throughout my schooling. I believe that this world is full of hope for the future and I also acknowledge that growing up in this day and age has its own specific challenges. I feel equipt to understand and mentor young people through these challenges.
My lesson plans will involve initial conversation followed by my personal understanding and then a host activities about the subject. I believe that physical activity and short breaks every half an hour lead to increased mental focus. This will be a part of my lesson plans.
