About Sila
I am a patient, caring, and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in their learning. I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a comfortable and non-judgmental environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and develop their skills at their own pace.
I am currently studying Education at RMIT University and have completed a degree in Building Design. I am passionate about helping students improve academically while also building confidence and positive study habits. I believe in being honest, supportive, and encouraging so students can reach their full potential.

My tutoring approach focuses on helping students build confidence and truly understand the topic rather than simply memorising answers. I encourage students to attempt questions independently first, then guide them step-by-step to develop the techniques and problem-solving skills needed to succeed.
I am patient, supportive, and understanding, and I like taking the time to ensure each student fully understands a concept before moving on. I also provide practice questions and tests to help students reinforce what they learn and prepare for school assessments.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are available for primary school students and Years 7–9 Maths students. I have experience tutoring family members and am currently studying Education at RMIT University alongside my Building Design background.
