About Kimberly
Sometimes I find that students arrive feeling overwhelmed by the sheer complexity of French grammar. To manage this, I conduct a diagnostic level test before we build the plan for your specific goals. This ensures we prioritise the right areas like idioms, role play, or dialogue practice.
Drawing on my RNCM degree and 13 years of experience, I ensure our sessions move at a pace that is challenging but never hurried. Did you ever wonder why language acquisition sometimes feels like learning a secret code? My path into linguistics began during 13 years of performing on major opera stages across the UK and Europe. These stages demanded precision in diction and nuance which I now translate into my French tutoring practice. I work regularly with children, adults, and students targeting IELTS, DELE, or DELF exams.
Helping others refine their accent, writing skills, and conversational fluency remains the most rewarding aspect of my daily life. I genuinely appreciate the quiet focus required to master a new tongue. My own journey as a performer informs the way I approach every interaction with my students.
