About Sebastian
I’m an engineer working for a major engineering employer, and I bring that real-world perspective directly into my tutoring. My teaching style centres on building genuine confidence — helping students understand why concepts matter, not just how to memorise them for an exam. I focus on connecting classroom ideas to practical applications so learning feels meaningful, relevant and long-lasting. Students can expect clear explanations, structured guidance and a supportive environment that encourages steady progress and independent thinking. My goal is to help learners develop skills they’ll carry forward, long after the test papers are forgotten.

I like to draw upon plenty of real examples of how maths and science are applied in real life to help students understand that what they are learning is useful for a future career and not just to pass some exams.
I have prior tutoring experience throughout my time at university and through helping my younger siblings to pass their exams. My lessons are targeted at any age preparing for GCSE/iGCSE exams as this is a key time to build their self-confidence for A-levels and beyond.
