About Innes
I actually study Law at University, but I always enjoyed Maths at school, I am also a keen musician, holding a grade 8 distinction in drumming, and I also have a Pilot's licence. GCSE is often logic based, many things can be worked out without requiring some peculiar piece of knowledge, understanding this helps to make GCSE easier. I find making it more real, explaining the maths by making it something someone can visualise rather than just numbers can also make it easier for some to understand. I can help to find what way is best to teach every student and teach accordingly.

One-to-one is the easiest way to teach, after learning from my own tutor, the best way to learn maths is simply to do it, I would use lessons to demonstrate and explain the topic before going through example questions, in between lessons, students would be expected to undertake more practice to help consolidate learning, this would then be checked at the start of the following lesson. Typical lessons would be one hour, I have helped to teach GCSE before, partly after leaving school but also at sixth form every week I would go and help students in a GCSE class. My lessons would therefore be intended for GCSE students.
