As a specialist who holds an MMus from the Royal Northern College of Music, I emphasise music theory and rhythm guitar to give you a complete understanding of your fretboard. To keep you on track, I provide a monthly recorded review of progress so you can actually hear your own development over time. We cover everything from basic tuning and maintenance to complex improvisation, ensuring you have the tools to play with confidence.

Picking up my first guitar as a teenager remains one of the clearest memories I hold from my early days in music. Since then, I have built 13 years of experience performing and teaching, eventually working with 168 students to help them master their instruments. My MMus Voice background gives me a unique ear for melody and rhythm, which I apply directly to teaching electric technique, barre chords, and complex chord transitions. I have spent years refining my ability to explain music theory in ways that make sense to hobbyists and kids alike.
