About Illia

I am a full-time student studying linguistics and Mandarin, and I have always been drawn to language in general and foreign language learning in particular. My background in linguistics equips with me with the necessary tools to impart linguistic knowledge effectively.

About the lesson

Russian trips people up in a few predictable places — cases, verb aspect, pronunciation — and I try to explain those clearly rather than just telling you to memorise tables. Lessons adjust to what you're finding difficult, with conversation practice mixed in so it's not all grammar theory. Suited to complete beginners as well as people brushing up existing skills.

Perfect! Valuable lesson! Highly recommend.

Illia's response
Nikolay seems to be a great guy. His Russian lacks practice but will get better swiftly if he keeps up communicating and comprehending it regularly. He has a solid foundation and a good familial environment for his language to develop quickly if he puts his mind to it.
