About Makenzie
Over the past eight years, I have tutored over 50 preK-12 students, and over 15 adults. I have tutored nearly every K-12 subject, and many college level courses, as well. Additionally, I am well-versed in ASL and able to tutor high school level Spanish 1 & 2. Further, I have helped with many career training and professional exams.
I teach through a holistic, kindness led philosophy. I create a strong sense of safety for all students, where mistakes are seen as the foundation of learning. I embrace progress and want every student to leave my sessions feeling smarter and more prepared for the world.
Students don’t just “learn math.” They also learn real world, important skills. Watch your students turn into more organized, prepared, and motivated young adults through my tutoring sessions.
