About Cat
I hold a degree in Political Science from the “Institut d’études politiques Aix-en-Provence” (Science Po) and have lived in Paris, Brussels and, of course, Aix-en-Provence. With me, you can learn far more than only the French language. Having experienced political life in the capital, I can give an overview of the French political landscape, contrast it to British, German and European politics and contextualize it historically. You can learn about French academic culture and exam methodology from me. If you’re preparing for an academic semester in France, my lessons could prove especially useful to you.

Building on several years of experience teaching teenagers (13-16 years old) French, I believe in making language lessons fun. My recipe consists in sprinkling Grammar with anecdotes on French culture, history, politics and lifestyle and mixing in material from French newspapers and radio. Like every home-baked delicacy, each lesson is 100% adapted to your specific needs and goals. Experience has shown that 45min lessons twice a week provide the steepest learning curve. I will give you a set of exercises to do after each lesson so you can continue practicing and will discuss these exercises at the beginning of the following lesson.
