About Louis
"Hi, I'm Louis! I'm a Bachelor of Science graduate in Earth Science, with hands-on experience across geophysics, geology, environmental science, and chemistry through fieldwork and lab-based roles. I've always loved breaking down complex scientific concepts into ideas that actually make sense, whether that's explaining a tricky physics formula or talking someone through why a chemical reaction happens. I'm patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy helping students build real confidence in science, not just memorize it for exams."

My tutoring sessions follow a general 5 step, flexible approach:
1. Explaining the concept using real world examples.
2. Working the problems together.
3. Allow the student to explain their work.
4. Consolidate the understanding.
5. Recap what we've learnt.
Sessions can last from 1-1.5 hours and are suitable for any ATAR or IB students who need some extra assistance.
