About Cian
My name is Cian Scanlon and I'm entering my final year of the Biomedical Physics degree.
I completed my leaving cert with high grades and all higher-level subjects, I have done problem-solving sessions in college to help younger years with topics/subjects they find difficult.
I'm looking to offer help to whoever may need it and work continuously with them through any given period to ensure they achieve to the best of their abilities no matter their year in school or college.

I would teach normally topic by topic, doing basic level understanding and conceptual learning followed by worked examples.
My approach to any issues or questions would be identifying where the problems or confusion lie with the student. Starting at a pace they are comfortable at and then progressing through worked examples or different versions of that question/topic to help ensure full understanding before moving onto the next topic.
1 session length can be anywhere between 30-60 minutes depending on the needs of the student.
I have qualified as a problem solving assistant in the University of Galway during my ongoing degree to assistant younger years in learning and understanding.
I can offer lessons to anyone studying for the Junior/Leaving cert or entry level college students depending on the module.
