About Leah
I currently work in a secondary school in London teaching science. Looking to help students with the final push before their GCSE's, and students in other years as well.
I teach all sciences but my speciality is Physics as I have a masters degree in Engineering.
I studied Civil Engineering at the University of Surrey and got a 1st class masters qualification. During my time at university, I was partnered with a top engineering company and undertook 3 placements amounting to 16 months of work. Following university, I joined this company as a graduate engineer and worked there for a while.
After realising that I wasn't happy with a career in engineering, I joined the Teach First programme and have been working as a science teacher since. I thoroughly enjoy this job and working with a range of different students, helping them pass their exams and setting them up for success in their lives.
